Why we exist
Most startups never hire communications early enough.
The idea
Founders are busy building. Engineers are busy shipping. Nobody is assigned the job of telling the outside world what is happening inside.
So the stories stay where they were made - in Slack threads, launch documents, customer calls, product demos, and internal meetings. Every week a company creates something worth knowing about, and every week it stays in the building.
Retold Labs exists to make sure those stories become your company's public presence.
Not a campaign. Not a content push. A communications function that runs every month, the way it would if you had hired the team yourself.

The founder
Retold Labs was built by Arlina Yang after years spent working across LinkedIn communications, editorial strategy, and technology companies - and watching the same gap appear at every one of them.
Her company storytelling has appeared on the pages of Siemens and Atlassian, and she has partnered on communications with Notion, Google, ServiceNow, Jobright.ai, Lovable, COOP Careers, Talvy, and Fide. She has been featured in Business Insider and invited to Forbes 30 Under 30, LinkedIn ScaleUp, and OpenAI's ChatGPT Futures.
The conclusion behind Retold Labs came out of that work: great company pages are not the product of clever copy. They come from a disciplined editorial system that turns the expertise already inside a company into a consistent, recognizable voice.

Philosophy
A company page is not a megaphone. It is a record. Done well, it compounds into something prospects, candidates, investors, and partners quietly trust before they ever take a meeting.
